Research of veterinary bacteria diseases, bacterial vaccine development, food borne diseases, zoonotic diseases and antimicrobial resistance in livestock.

- Production of Seed for BQ vaccine.
- Production of Seed for Swine pasteurellosis vaccine.
- Production of Seed for Fowl cholera vaccine.
- Production of S 19 vaccine.
- Quality control (Purity, Safety and Potency) for bacterial vaccine (HS, BQ, SP, FC, S19), viral vaccine (Raniket, FMD) and parasitic vaccine (Babesia).
- Production of Udder infusions (Dry cow and lactating)
- Production of Salmonella antigen.
- Production of RBPT antigen.

- National Reference laboratory for diagnosis of brucellosis, leptospirosis in livestock in Sri Lanka.
